Leon had to do a freeze stay for this to work. Not so easy for me to balance this cup on a crested Doberman head .

By the way, I find (or will find) freeze stays useful for things like photographing my dogs for the blog or for the amusement of others.
Leon loves being involved with his mom, and doing things like this. I have made it a point to make Leon my muse, as the most advanced dogs in my house.
Our dog, Jackie CD, used to do things like this naturally. Most dogs won't pose naturally for you, even when in a stay unless it;s a freeze stay.
